                                                    “Clu Bell"

          Erik von Detten stars in Disney Channel's new original series So Weird as Jack's 
best friend, Clu Bell, whose dad is the band's roadie and whose mom is their manager.

          Von Detten recently starred as Wally Cleaver in the film Leave it to Beaver. In 
addition, he starred in the feature films Amanda and Top Dog and the Disney Channel 
original movie Brink!, as the title character Andy Brinker. He provided the voice of Sid in 
Disney's blockbuster feature Toy Story and, additionally, lent his voice to the animated 
feature Hercules.

          The sixteen-year-old actor began his career in daytime television, starring as 
Nicholas Alamain on Days of Our Lives, and has gone on to guest star in numerous 
primetime series, including ER.  He earned The Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award 
nomination for his performance with Robin Riker in the television movie Christmas Every 
Day, and has appeared in a number of other made-for-television movies including A 
Stranger to Love, Escape to Witch Mountain, A Season of Hope, In the Line of Duty: 
Kidnapped, and the mini-series In the Best of Families.

          A gifted athlete both on-camera and off, von Detten is skilled at surfing, 
skateboarding, skiing, golf and sailing. Born and raised in Southern California, the 
young actor has donated his time to a number of charitable organizations.
