TEASER

FADE IN:

1          MONTAGE – NIGHT

A HAND uses magnets to put a child’s crayon drawing of a thunderstorm up on a refrigerator door.  The distant sound of thunder threatens . . .

FI (V.O.)

                              The power of attraction –electricity,

                              Magnetism—isn’t just about electrons.

I think people have it too.

A LOUNGE-LIZZARD GUY winks at camera and mouths “call me.”

                                                          FI (V.O.)  (CONT’D)

Uh . . . some more than others.

FOOTAGE OF A LIGHTNING STORM AT NIGHT.

                                                          FI (V.O.) (CONT’D)

                                       Like, some people attract friends,

Others attract luck . . .With me, it’s

                                       Paranormal stuff.  Face it—if

                                       Weirdness were lightning, by now

                                       I’d be toast

1A      INT.           FI’S BEDROOM – NIGHT

FI works at her computer as the storm rages outside.

                                                          FI (V.O.)  (CONT’D)

Sure, I look hard to find weird

Things . . . but is there an energy in

                                       me that attracts the paranormal?

And if that’s true, there must be other

people like me.

LIGHTNING flashes.  Fi walks to the rain-streaked window.

                                                          FI (V.O.) (CONT’D)

Because I’ve seen too much to believe

                                       That lightning never strikes twice

Then, a DOUBLE LIGHTNING FLASH:          the first revealing FI reflected in the window glass.

THE SECOND FLASH illuminates Fi again, but this time, she is not alone: a SECOND GIRL is reflected in the glass, facing FI, as if in the room

With her . . . shadowy, revealed too briefly to identify. . but there.

As the image fades to black and THUNDER rumbles in the distance . . .
